A vacation state of mind is what you experience in this fully renovated master bath located in Tacoma’s North End. Capturing important square footage by eliminating the oversized and underutilized Jacuzzi tub allowed us to design a spa like two person shower area, a dry space for towel storage, and a teak bench for comfort and relaxation. The transom window near the bench was positioned with privacy in mind and allows a stunning view of the Puget Sound. We were able to leave an existing large window undisturbed in their shower that used to be above a tub; this prevented extensive exterior work that resulted in a large cost savings for our clients! The existing window provided an amazing amount of light but no privacy so the custom opaque glass door was a great solution. The floating vanity with two under mount sinks, cabinets, drawers equipped with storage and electrical provides a sleek, and functional design. Robern mirrors were selected to provide additional storage, electrical, and lighting to the vanity area. A custom cabinet was designed with just what the client’s needed allowing us to maximize their space. Finishes were selected with an organic style in mind. A combination of metals, warm woods, soft colors, and textures creates a master bath with that “Vacation State of Mind”!
