Our approach to this 1 bedroom model unit in Northpoint at Creekside apartment homes was to produce a design with a strong modern foundation with calming organic elements, creating a Modern Northwest style fitting for its location. We incorporated several functional statement pieces throughout the unit, our favorite being the modern floating T.V entertainment center in the living room. This piece compliments the dramatic oversized artwork in the entry leading into the space. We introduced a pop of color by bringing in the orange accent chair and natural wood stool. In the window treatments, we kept it simple with upholstered cornice boards throughout the unit that provide a fun modern vibe to the design. In the dining room we specified a simple crisp white Tulip table and brought in a colorful cabinet that we removed the legs on and installed on the wall to create a custom look. To finish off the dining space we incorporated a modern colorful piece of art. Our design concept for the bedroom was to prove that small spaces can have big style. We accomplished this by using furniture with clean lines, and took advantage of extra space at the end of the bed for a desk workstation. This 1 bedroom unit conveys a crisp modern environment that is spacious, inviting, and somewhere any Northwesterner would want to live!
