At the show American Design's Owner and Lead Designer Pamela Sturgill, along with the Design Team, created for "The Martinique" an interior design concept that reflects an upscale resort and spa.
The award winning and experienced Design Team illustrated the resort and spa ambiance with influences in a variety of natural and exotic woods, rattan and bamboo. The exotic inspirations of color are revealed with coppers, golden yellows, tangerines and bronzes. Fabrics and upholstery for furniture and custom window coverings range from a variety of shimmering silks and sheers, to exotic cottons, linens and natural influences such as jute. Specialty finishes are highlighted in metallic wall finishes, limestone, Venetian plaster and a spa like mural shown on the barrel ceiling of the Master Bath. In the powder room, an exotic yet subdued wallpaper is paired with warm wood stains and cafe doors to complete this luxurious look.
Signature Construction’s Martinique was designed with the “only the best” buyer in mind, whose lifestyle has changed from the busy pace of family rearing to peace, beauty and an elegant and inviting environment to entertain family and friends.
This open floor plan offers sweeping views of the Olympic Mountains, the valley and Puget Sound from almost every room. The richly appointed interior's use of natural wood and stone is incorporated with the superior quality and thoughtfulness of design that defines a Signature Custom Home. Extensive and unique applications of millwork and drywall detailing create a sophisticated look that also incorporates a relaxed atmosphere. The exotic inspirations of color are revealed with coppers, golden yellows, tangerines and bronzes.
